Pepper is out of Havoc and Joy. He was born here at Aegys and went to his new home at 8 weeks. He was purchased to guard livestock (primarily poultry). He was returned to Aegys in August 2015 after he bit someone (a stranger) who entered his fenced enclosure. The previous owners felt they could not risk this happening again and could not prevent a stranger from entering their property. Basically, Pepper did what a LGD should do, he protected his flock and domain. I allowed Pepper to come back because I didn't feel this behavior was unwaranted. I felt Pepper deserved a second chance and I was right! He is an absolute love! No one here has had any issues with him whatsover. He is friendly to the point of exuberance. He probably would benefit from some formal training to make him less energetic, but he's very sweet. He will fence fight with other dogs, but he's been fine with another female playmate. He was neutered shortly before he came back to Aegys. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations and heartworm preventative. Pepper is not a big male, but he has fabulous conformation, a typey head and lovely coat. He's a real beauty. Pepper is available to a good home now!
