Peaches Champion Aegis Lofranco Georgia Peach aka Peaches was born December 27, 1998, to Champion Lofranco’s Layla of Sugarbrook and Champion Mt. Carmel’s Paladin. She is 28 inches at the shoulder and weighs 115 lbs. She has a beautiful, wavy, white coat and dark pigmentation. She is tremendously angulated and moves like a freight train. Now finally matured, we are pleased that she is quite large and a real presence. She is tolerant of strangers if Bruce or I are around and are okay with them. Peaches has a loving personality and is uncannily smart (she will open doors if you let her and she can flip the latches on gates with her nose). In her first two times in the ring, she earned two majors. On June 10, 2000, Peaches whelped an incredible litter of 13 pups-7 boys, 6 girls (named after the 13 original colonies!). This litter was sired by Zeus. Her championship was completed on June 2, 2001, with a win over major pointed bitches. She whelped her second litter, also with Zeus, and can brag about 10 incredible puppies-6 females, 4 males. Littermates Ch. Jerry, Ch. Bamm Bamm, and Snowy are more than living up to our expectations.. And in January 2004 she whelped her third litter, this with Stifler, producing 5 puppies-our I2 litter. Peaches is bothered by thunderstorms, but we have had good results with a product called clomacalm. Peaches would make an excellent livestock guard as she isn’t too sure of strangers, but she is fine with our horses and miniature horses. She does a fine job of running the fence line and barking ferociously when visitors arrive, but this is all for show. She doesn’t have a mean or aggressive bone in her body. Peaches could also go to an indoor home as she is housetrained but with no children. I don’t think it would be fair to ask her to make that kind of adjustment. She prefers a quiet life without the noise and energy associated with children. At seven years of age, Peaches is current on all vaccines, heartworm medication, and eats 5 cups of Iams a day. She is leash trained and can easily be walked on a flat, buckle collar.
