Daphne Champion Oak Hill’s Tenacious Daphne aka Daphne was born May 5, 2000. She is 27 inches at the shoulder and weighs 90+ lbs. Daphne has everything you could want in a Kuvasz and in a show dog-typey head, flawless movement, correct structure and substance, gregarious, fearless temperament. Here first weekend out she took a 3 point major over kennelmate Tundra and two imports. Daphne’s winning ways continued in her second trip to the show ring where she went BOB over major pointed bitches and a major pointed import male. And in her third weekend out, she took another major over the so-called “group” entry even though she was totally out of coat. And again, out of coat she took WB for 2 more points. And finally, she finished her championship by going BOB from the classes over a top ranked special. Her winning ways earned her the distinction of #15 Breed and #17 All Breed for 2001. Her most significant accomplishments to date, however, are her Excellent hip rating by the GDC and the beautiful puppies she has produced. The F2 litter, born May 28, 2003, consisted of 7 puppies and was sired by Champion Aegis Corlynn American Pie. The K2 litter born June 29, 2004, had 8 puppies and was sired by Champion Aegis Yada Yada Yada. Thank you Nancy McGuire of Oak Hill Kuvasz for this tremendous girl! Daphne now lives in Canada.
