Layla Champion Lofranco’s Layla of Sugarbrook OD January 18, 1996-January 2, 2006 She was 26 inches at the shoulder and weighed 100 lbs. She had a snow-white, very wavy coat. Layla had nice dark pigment (including the black toenails), a typey head and a near perfect front assembly. Her first litter, sired by Champion Kiralyi Hajos Maci CD VC, consisted of 12 big, healthy puppies—all of which had bold, outgoing personalities and outstanding conformation. Pajtas is the male we kept from this litter. He finished his championship and had clear hips! Peaches was from Layla’s second litter. She is a champion with normal hips too. Peaches sister, Georgia, is also OVC clear. Layla earned the runner up to the top producing bitch award in 1999 and again in 2002. In 2001 we bred Layla to our large male, Zeus. The “W” litter consisted of 12 big, curly puppies. Daughter Winter finished her championship and has an OFA Good prelim. Littermate Willow is an OFA Good, group placing champion. Layla’s final litter, with Trevnaden’s Tokajer, was born in March 2002. Big Pussy is our keeper from that litter and he is an OFA Good champion. In 2004 her unquestionable quality was recognized by the Kuvasz Club of America when she was awarded the Outstanding Dam certificate. Layla was a wonderful addition to our family as she was fun-loving and mischievous—our black-eyed clown! OVC clean, CERF, thyroid |
