Champion Mission’s Brut Peszgo Kiadas VCD1, AJP, OA, OAJ, VOAA, CGC, ThD  is known simply as “Bubbles”.

She needs no other introduction as her accomplishments speak for themselves.  She was my “once in a lifetime dog”.

Bubbles and I began our quests in the conformation ring, but ended up doing just about every possible event in AKC competition.  Entire articles have been written on this amazing dog; so, I’ll just sum it up briefly here.  Bubbles was an AKC champion with three owner-handled group placements and a Best in Show Veteran (the only Kuvasz in history to get a Veteran BIS!)  The VCD1 is a compilation of a TD (tracking title), a CD (companion dog obedience title), an NA (novice agility title), and an NAJ (novice agility jumpers title).  Bubbles was the first Kuvasz to attain this prestigious distinction and she is still the only bitch to do it.  The AJP represents the agility venue with the pinnacle of her achievements there being the Excellent Jumpers Preferred title earned at nearly 11 years old.  The OA (open agility title) and her OAJ (open agility jumpers title) round out the agility.  She also had 2/3 of her AX and 2/3 of her AXJ titles but jumping 24” just wasn’t something she could do anymore.  While at one agility trial she caught the eye of a reporter and we made the next day’s Houston Chronicle!  It is amazing how a big, white dog executing the weave poles impresses a crowd. VOAA is a Kuvasz Club of America distinction only based on her performance titles plus her 3 group placements (owner handled).  Bubbles was a “good citizen” in every sense of the term and needed no set of initials to announce it, but the CGC is the AKC’s way of acknowledging her good manners.  And finally, Bubbles helped others as a therapy dog visiting nursing homes occasionally.

Age caught up to Bubbles in August 2004.  We had so much left to do I thought, but eleven and a half years was all the time with her that I was granted.  She was my heart, and I will forever keep her there….
