Darby

Lofranco’s Federal Express aka Darby lived from June 3, 1993 to September 18, 2004.  She was our foundation bitch out of Can/Am Champion Lofranco’s Winterhawk Sierra and Oak Hill Calli Lofranco.  Darby was 24 inches at the shoulder and weighed 90 lbs.  She had an abundant, straight coat of proper texture with some waves over her back.  Darby came to live with us in 1996 and proved to be a wonderful addition to our family.  She was never shown, but she possessed exquisite movement , good pigment and coat, and a lovely but protective temperament.  Darby was an excellent mother and had what is known as that irrepressible clown-like Kuvasz personality.  Her favorite food was Good n’ Plenty’s—who knew?  Her first litter sired by  CH Cody, the A litter, produced very typey puppies with outstanding temperaments.  Four of the seven were shown and pointed and one is tracking.  Her second litter sired by CH Paladin, the D litter, produced CH Sugar and CH Stardust, who both live in upstate NY.  Her third litter sired by CH Hughie, the H litter, produced CH Magic, who whelped two litters herself!  Darby was bred to CH Pajtas and the L litter consisting of one pup (appropriately named Lone Ranger) was born November 19, 1999.  Darby earned the award of runner up to the top producing bitch in 1999.  In October 2000 Darby whelped her final litter, the U litter.
